Here, you need a margin: allow an hour before departure for a Eurostar to London, and a good twenty minutes for a TGV, an ICE or any other Eurostar destination. A taxi booked in advance builds that margin in: a pick-up time calculated from your address, a direct ride and a drop-off as close to the concourse as possible, with no changes and no metro stairs to tackle with your luggage.
TaxisVerts handles your transfers to and from Brussels-Midi 24/7, at the official fare, with drivers licensed by the Brussels-Capital Region.

Tell us what you need
Child seat, bulky luggage, 6 to 8-seat van, accessible vehicle: you choose it all at the time of booking.
Your driver is waiting
Your driver contacts you on arrival and drops you at the official taxi rank, as close to the concourse entrance as possible.
Taking a Eurostar or a TGV?
Give your train number when you book: your driver adjusts their arrival time if your train is late and waits for you at the agreed meeting point.
Rides from Brussels-Midi
The station has official taxi ranks, including one on Place Victor Horta, at the Rue de France exit near the Eurostar terminal. When you book, your driver gives you the exact meeting point and contacts you on arrival. That helps in a station this big, where the Eurostar terminal for London is several minutes' walk from the furthest national platforms.

These times are a guide and vary with traffic, the weather and any roadworks on the inner ring road (Petite Ceinture).
Which trains serve Brussels-Midi?
Whether you are off to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne or just Ghent, here are the rail operators that serve Brussels-Midi.
Eurostar, TGV INOUI, OUIGO and ICE
Brussels-Midi is the city's main station for international high-speed trains. Eurostar (which absorbed Thalys) runs services to London, Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne. TGV INOUI runs direct to many French cities, including Lille, Lyon and Marseille, and the ICE (Deutsche Bahn) serves Cologne and Frankfurt, with a stop at Brussels-North. OUIGO Train Classique also runs to Paris-Nord at low fares, on the conventional line, in about 3 hours.
Leave plenty of time for these trains. For London, you reach the platforms after the ticket gates, security and border checks, and the ticket gates close 30 minutes before departure (15 minutes in Eurostar Premier). For the Netherlands and Germany, security checks may also take place before you reach the platform.
Night trains: Nightjet and European Sleeper
The Nightjet (ÖBB) links Brussels-Midi with Vienna, and the European Sleeper with Berlin and Prague, plus Milan since September 2026. These trains leave in the evening and arrive in Brussels in the morning: with luggage for several days, a booked taxi is the simplest option.
SNCB, EuroCity and the airport link
For domestic travel, SNCB (the Belgian national railway company) serves the whole Belgian network from Brussels-Midi: Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, Ostend, Liège, Namur, Charleroi and Leuven, as well as Brussels S Train services and direct trains to Brussels Airport-Zaventem.
On top of that, the EuroCity Direct runs to Amsterdam Zuid and the EuroCity to Rotterdam, operated by SNCB with NS International (Nederlandse Spoorwegen).
At the wrong station?
It happens more often than you would think in Brussels. If your ticket says Brussels-North rather than Brussels-Midi, see our page on transfers to Brussels-North. A TaxisVerts gets you there in about ten minutes outside rush hour.
Frequently asked questions about taxis at Brussels-Midi
Can I get from Brussels-Midi to anywhere in Brussels with TaxisVerts?
Yes. TaxisVerts serves Brussels-Midi 24/7 and takes you to any destination in Brussels and the surrounding area: the city centre, the European Quarter, hotels, conference centres, other stations or airports. You can book ahead or order a vehicle at the last minute.
How long before my Eurostar should I arrive at Brussels-Midi?
For a Eurostar to London, arrive at the time shown on your ticket, usually 45 to 60 minutes before departure (30 to 45 minutes in Eurostar Premier): you go through the ticket gates, security and border checks, and the ticket gates close 30 minutes before departure. For Paris, Amsterdam or Cologne, about twenty minutes is enough. When you book your taxi, give your train number: the pick-up time is calculated to leave you that margin.
Do I need to book my taxi at Brussels-Midi in advance?
It is not compulsory, but it is strongly recommended at rush hour, early in the morning, late in the evening, and when you travel with bulky luggage or in a group.
Can a taxi take me from Brussels-Midi to Brussels Airport?
Yes, it is one of our most requested rides: allow about 30 minutes in light traffic. For an early flight, booking the day before is the safest option.
Are there taxis at Brussels-Midi at night?
Yes. TaxisVerts runs 24/7, including for very early departures and late returns, when the metro and trams are not running.
