Who has access to the races on the Taxis Verts platform?
All drivers affiliated with a TaxisVerts member who meet the criteria of the race (ex: PMR, Van, etc.).
How do airport queues work?
When a driver is on the wrong trip at the airport, he automatically joins a virtual side queue with all the drivers who made a wrong trip. This queue has priority over the “base” queue.
In addition, the driver present in the base line will not see his position “decrease” if a driver in the wrong direction returns to the queue. Conversely, the driver on the wrong trip sees that he has joined a side line in which he is generally first, unless there are other drivers waiting following a wrong trip.
Why are some addresses not complete when shopping is received?
When booking via the application, the customer can choose a GPS coordinate, which is not necessarily encoded in the Google Maps database. This has no impact for the driver if he activates his navigation application via the Green Taxis application.


What is the purpose of this platform?
The aim is to ensure equality between drivers in the same category as well as to serve in the best possible way the customer who has pre-ordered a trip via a Business, Vans and PMR service.
Indeed, as the number of drivers and vehicles adapted to these specific races is quite limited, it is possible that no vehicle is available at the time when the system must allocate the trip. This does not guarantee punctuality and may require a dispatcher to perform manual intervention, which we do not recommend.
How many trips can a driver pre-book on the prebook platform?
A maximum of 3 races per day over the next 3 days.
Why is it that drivers receive trips without a destination address?
By default and regardless of the booking method (telephone, app, web portal, IVR and Butler), we invite the customer to provide the destination address in order to let him know the price of his trip. Some customers do not want to give the destination address of a trip and prefer to communicate it only to the driver. In this case, it is up to the driver to enter the destination of the trip in the app and to give the base price of the trip as soon as the trip starts.
How does the awarding of races via the Sherlock system work?
In principle, the following parameters are taken into account: the estimated distance/distance to the pickup according to Google.
Late: the delay that the driver will have on the time announced to the customer
Empty Time: the bonus given to the driver who stayed without a trip the longest
Drop: Penalty granted for drivers who are in the race and who deposit in 5min (because we don't know how much time will be left at the drop off point)
Rank: Bonus or penalty granted to the driver if he is in a row (virtual line), e.g. if a driver is in the virtual lane for the airport, a penalty will be applied if the system takes him into account for a trip outside the airport area, because he is already preferred for airport pickups.
Given operational constraints specific to certain services (e.g. PMR trips, business, van), a pre-booking platform is set up. The number of trips available on the pre-booking platform is marginal compared to the total of trips available at TaxisVerts (PMR: appx 1.5%, business appx 1%, van appx 0.5%).
On a strictly exceptional basis, manual allocations may be made in order to meet specific operational constraints.
Does Taxis Verts intend to switch to a system of remuneration by commission instead of the fee?
The strategic choice of the management of TaxisVerts is to perpetuate the monthly fee (subscription) in order to strengthen its partnership relationship with its members.
Is the dress code always the same?
During our various meetings, we took note of your remarks and suggestions. The new regulation has been simplified, but will be applied in a strict and rigorous manner.
Will the administrative and accounting documents generated by Taxis Verts evolve with the new system?
TaxisVerts maintains the same procedure for drawing up its forms on behalf of members (invoicing, discount, etc.).
I have the necessary vehicle and I would like to have access to Business courses, what should I do?
TaxisVerts will launch a series of Business training courses in order to increase the number of drivers who can access the Business service! This is good for the driver and good for the customer! If you are interested, please inform your Technical Office in order to register for the next training courses.
Will the payment of trips by billing and taxi checks remain monthly?
Yes, concerned about the working capital of its partners, the management of TaxisVerts has opted for monthly payments.
Why am I receiving notifications via the app for the expiry of my vehicle's technical inspection and insurance?
You get automatic notifications because your vehicle information is not up to date. To do this, we invite you to send us a copy/photo of your vehicle document by email to bt@taxis.be in order to proceed with the update.
Can I lose access to this pre-booking platform?
Oui. En cas de changement de véhicule qui ne serait pas adapté aux sous-catégories ou en cas d’infraction. La liste des infractions sera prochainement communiquée.
Is a Business category vehicle sufficient to access the pre-booking platform for Business trips?
No! Business is also and above all an attitude, an outfit, a respect for one's vehicle and one's passenger.
Why is the price of groceries not the same as that of the taximeter? Is it legal?
Article 8 of the decree of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region (relating to the sub-categories of taxi services as well as the quotas and rates applicable to them) states that:
“1st- For station taxi services provided upon reservation and for street taxi services, with the exception of luxury services referred to in article 9, the minimum rates are as follows:
1st: User support is fixed at 1.50 euros;
2nd: The price per minute is fixed at 40 cents per minute started;
3rd: The price per kilometer is fixed at 1.50 euros per kilometer
4th: The minimum price of the ride is fixed at 8 euros;
The maximum rates are capped at 200% of the rates referred to in the 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd.”
Platforms such as TaxisVerts are therefore not bound by the taxi meter, but must themselves set prices in the corridor set by the government decree. It is therefore mandatory for drivers to respect the price indicated on the application.
Does Taxis Verts intend to send members a report on the trips made by its drivers?
Members will automatically receive weekly reports and one monthly report per car with the details of each race. The latter is under development and will be sent to you very soon.
What is the pre-booking platform?
The pre-booking platform is a link to the drivers application offering the possibility for drivers, currently offering a Business, Vans and PMR service, to pre-book certain races for the hours and days to come.
Given the limited number of vehicles available for these services, we prefer to ensure equality between drivers in the same category thanks to this platform rather than allocating trips manually.
Currently, the races available on the prebook platform represent approximately 3% of all races encoded on Sherlock.
Are there exceptions among Vans and Business drivers that cause some drivers not to access the pre-booking platform?
Yes! Drivers (Business, Vans or PMR) who belong to a stable and who do not always drive with the same vehicle do not have access in order to prevent these same drivers from pre-booking races that they will not be able to execute (a Van in Sedan race for example). If you are part of a team, if you drive exclusively with a Vans PMR or Business vehicle, we invite you to contact the Technical Office.
Can the price paid by a customer account (e.g. professional) vary from the prices paid by the driver?
The price of the trips is fixed by TaxisVerts in accordance with the Taxi Ordinance. The member agrees to accept this price when he accepts a race.
TaxisVerts does not take any commission on the price of the trip thus determined. The remuneration paid by the TaxisVerts member is the fee.
The member is however informed that, in addition to the price of the trip, TaxisVerts may also take into account the customer, in remuneration for additional services, the intermediation that TaxisVerts gives him (priorities on races, organization of events, priority numbers, priority numbers, numbers, priority numbers, SMS notifications, SMS notifications, SMS notifications, SMS notifications, SMS notifications, personalization of professional accounts, access to deferred means of payment, access to deferred means of payment, CO2 reports on the use of the company, etc.), management fees and administrative fees are adding to the price of the race.

In these cases, any management fees referred to above are acquired by the member!
Do you need a vehicle of a minimum standard to offer a business service?
Yes! To offer a Business service, you must have the right vehicle and offer quality service.
Who has the right to access this prebook platform?
Drivers with a vehicle currently offering a “Business”, “Vans” and “PMR” service. If you wish to access these categories as a driver and if you have the appropriate vehicle, we invite you to contact the Technical Office.
